Gifford Lane Art Stroll is tomorrow

Tomorrow is the Art Stroll (I'll post a map tomorrow morning for those of you not familiar with the area).

For those who want to boycott the event -- good -- more food and art
for me.

This is probably one of the best signature events Coconut Grove has -- it truly is a link to the past and for anyone that wants to miss it -- you are only hurting yourself.

Here is the 411 on the Boycott:

Commissioner Sarnoff and his wife Teresa were going to set up a table at the Gifford Lane Art Stroll in front of David and Trina Collins House, I guess to try to promote Sarnoff and his initiatives and do some damage control, after the New Times revealed a whole lot of very interesting and revealing information about him that most people in the neighborhood did not know about.

You can read all about it for yourself but you will need to go to the New Times web site (I pasted the links to the articles below) because David Collins, a long time avid Sarnoff supporter who lives on Gifford Lane, kept going around the Grove to empty out all of the New Times newspaper stands every time the paper came out (over the course of three weeks) so that no neighborhood Sarnoff supporters would learn the truth about Sarnoff.

Well, eventually Dave got busted.

I guess Dave didn't realize that most folks read the paper online these days.

So then some forward thinking artists who were disgusted by what they read in New Times about Sarnoff, got together and threatened to boycott the Art Stroll if Marc Sarnoff and his wife Teresa were going to set up their information table at the Stroll.

The latest, from a secret operative inside Sarnoff’s shrinking circle of staff, is that Sarnoff's latest strategy, as of late tonight, is just to try to save face by attending the Art Stroll, but not setting up the information table, which is probably a good thing, because after Dave got busted for stealing newspapers, he had to tell Sarnoff the he could not set the table up in front of his house.

Marc and Teresa set out to find someone else on the Lane that might let them set up the information table in front of their house, but after news of the boycott, everyone on the Lane banned together and said no to Sarnoff, mainly because nobody on the Lane wants the Sarnoff propaganda in front of their house, now especially not David and Trina.

Here are the links to the New Times Articles so you can see for yourself what this all about and why the Gifford Lane Residents did not want Sarnoff propaganda at
their Art Stroll:

I for one question Sarnoffs purity, but the fact that every new times article is written by the same author who seems it be supporting Michelle Spence Jones sounds fishy. Jones is an incompetent twit. I personally do not think city hall is reparable, hence why I am moving away from Miami FOREVER this summer. Good riddance!!

PS i sure hope what that author wrote is true because if not, he has the malice to constitute slander.

The truth shall prevail... if that is true about Dave Collins, I'm astonished at such infantile behavior. Let the house of cards fall, and let's not participate good people, lest you dirty up the pack.

Hm?

Let's face it, City of Miami is one big soap opera. Things that go on cannot be explained away in a short article or even a mini series. This latest installment with Sarnoff only continues the Saga. If I forget the abuse of my tax dollars, I start to enjoy the show. It's as if all the players read Carl Haasen, but didn't know he's a fictional novelist. This story has it all: hidden agendas, stolen newspapers, fake marriages, lies, video tapes, closeted gays, fake heredity, stolen money, slander, power, poisoned children and even dog poop! The letters over at New Times concerning Sarnoff are incredible. I have no idea what is truth and what is fiction, and I'm beginning not to care.

Can't wait for the next storyline.

Wow, just read the New Times articles about Sarnoff. Incredible!
Now I see why he had someone steal the papers in the Grove. Glad to see that this blog helps to inform the neighborhood about what's really going on. Keep up the good work Grapevine!

Do not believe everything you read.
One miserable little man named Brent Cutler is responsible for almost all the sleaze. It appears Cutler makes up almost everything he writes.

New Times articles were very informative. Sorry to say, but sounds like Sarnoff IS the sleaze.
