An Open Letter To My Neighbors:

I live on Gifford Lane and my neighbors and I received a notice about a Boycott of the Art Stroll because Commissioner Sarnoff's gang is planning on setting up a table in front of David and Trina Collins House again this year.

I for one believe that any political propaganda from the Commissioners office, no matter the content, would put a damper on the stroll.

Without going into detail, I beleive that The Art Stoll should not be used as a skidway for Commissioner Sarnoff's political discourse and, given the incendiary nature of newly emerged information, I am supporting this boycott.

The Stroll is about Art and supporting Saint Stephen's Aids Ministry and Saint Alban's - nothing else.

David and Trina Collins should know better.

I agree. Artists should not have opinions.

I don't live on Gifford Lane but my friends are artist who participate in the stroll every year. They said that they will not participate if Sarnoff sets up his table at Trina & David Collins house. What a shame!

Wake up guys; the campaign is over. Sarnoff was elected last November. No campaigning necessary. Get your heads out of the clouds.

I read in the Newspaper that Dave Collins was the one who was cleaning out the New Times stands everytime an issue came out revealing the true Sarnoff. I think Dave is in hot water for that.

I would have to agree that the Stoll is no place for "Secret Memo Sarnoff" propaganda. But it may be a good place to sell "Who's 'yer Grandaddy"...t-shirts! Someone could make a killing!

This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!! What is the MATTER with you people??? Marc is one of us, and for a politician on any level to even bother to come out among his constituents, much less to join in the best festival in the Grove, is a miracle. I am a Grove artist and I will be proud to participate in the Stroll this year as I do every year. Every artist I know feels the same way. WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE????? All I can say is you will miss a lot of fun this Sunday, but we won't miss you. David and Trina Collins have worked their butts off for this community and this festival, and I am glad that most of us love them and appreciate their efforts.

I would agree that David and Trina have worked hard for this community. Their only downfall was supporting Marc Sarnoff. He is NOT one of us, well, unless you are an obsessive, lying, sociopathic elitist, low-life, nobody, who harasses people for kicks and who has nothing better to do but take credit for gentrification of the Grove. But really I can't believe that people would want to cancel the stroll on the account of a wierdo like Sarnoff.

Please. Let level heads prevail.

The negative comments come form 1-2 malcontents.

I think all of this hoopla is for naught. Sarnoff wouldn't dare show his face in public unless he has to.

The end.

Sarnoff attends 2 to 4 public meetings every day six days a week. Almost every negative comment comes from recluse Brent Cutler.

Yes, I know because I attend the same 2 to 4 public meetings a day (I am no recluse). But I can tell you that everyone leaves those meetings shaking their heads and laughing at Mr. Who's your Grandaddy. When is Sarnoff going to get a clue? Does he not know that everyone is laughing at him?
It's just sad.
