Great Taste of the Grove off to a fine start

The Great Taste of the Grove is in full swing. I stopped by after the gym today for lunch. I'm going back later. The Hooters girls had all sorts of Hooters goodies, like chicken wings, shrimp, etc. I ran into so many people I know. It feels like one of the those old town days in the Grove. Just like the night of It's a Wonderful Life.

Here is the Qdoba crew. Now they are telling me that Qdoba is not opening until the end of the month. Inspection problems, they say.

Andy and Jackie are at the Fitness Together booth, signing people up for the Coconut Grove Fitness Challenge.

Here are Haley, George and Abby from Coconut Grove Elementary School selling Havana Cola and water.

The kiddie play area is very popular, as usual. The Great Taste of the Grove runs today until 7 pm and tomorrow form 11 am to 7 pm. Come out . . . take a taste of the Grove. Enjoy the food and the jazz and the neighborly feel.
