Hiking through The Grove

The Boy Scouts were passing through The Grove again in droves yesterday on one of their long hikes. It was a perfect weekend for a hike. It's a shame they had to pass right through the center of town, with so much going on, they probably didn't want to keep hiking, I bet they wanted to hang around.

i saw them hiking out there: Most of them needed it. i just cannot get over the obseity issue with kids and their paremts these days. when i was in elementary school there were literlly two overweight kids in our entire grade (and im not that old-early 30s). We had video games (atari and nintendo) and we had plenty of junk food, but apparently we got a hell of a lot more exercise. I love playing video game sbut i still loved a good kickball game, climbing trees, playing tetherball, tag and the like more. WTH has happend to this country. O and boys scouts went on REAL HIKES. Hell my girlscouts went on more intenst hiking trips. We even did a whitwater rafting campout.

Those were no boy scouts - that was the anti-Sarnoff rally. A peaceful protest through District Two by those who matter most.

That walk has a place in history with "The Barefoot Mailman". That's why they do it every year. Why is it that there is so much negativity on this blog, even with such a positive thing as a hike.

Cheer up people. Do you think you are a better person by constantly putting other people down? Get some anger management. Certainly you have better things to do than put down some scouts taking a historical hike.

There is a lot of negativity on this board, but I gotta admit that the "anti-sarnoff rally" comment was pretty funny.
