At the picnic
Everyone hung out under the overhang at the glass house until the rain stopped and it was a nice little gathering. As soon as the rain let up people started playing volleyball and spreading out onto the lawn.
The music played, thanks to Bobby Ingram and Friends and it turned out to be a nice gathering. I spoke with Glenn Terry and saw Dave Collins among the usual Grove participants. By 6 pm, the place was jumping.
Sue McConnell had her Code 33 table set up and was signing up residents. If you haven't signed up, it's free, this is a great program -- if you live in the Grove and I think work in the Grove, you can get a Code 33 card which offers discounts at local establishments from restaurants to all types of stores.
The merchants are always changing so it's a great way to try new places and get a discount in the process. The discounts are always on-going, so you can use the card over and over again.
