Summer afternoon in Coconut Grove

Summer weekend afternoons in the Grove are very quiet. You practically have the whole place to yourself, but I did see a few hearty souls braving the 95 degree temps. If you click on the pictures, they will open larger. Please feel free to send us your pictures of Grove scenes and people.

Nice shot of Main and Commodore; Mambo's/Coco's is now closed, several store windows are papered on Commodore; several windows are papered at Cocowalk - what are we doing to do? The Grovites have to start patronizing these stores and helping to do what we can to get new businesses in the Grove - no more ice cream or pizza shops - stuff we can use. The streets sure look empty in these shots.

Hello Coldwell Banker, residing in the former Coconut Grove Bank. Ever hear about new awnings? Your property looks unfinished. Corporate would not approve. I do not approve.
