Marcanio's Deli and Cafalo's Wine Cellar

Marcanio's European Deli Caffe and Cefalo's Wine Cellar are located at 3540 Main Highway (the old Taurus location).

Marciano's offers a full service deli, caffee lounge seating, trattoria style on-site dining, prepared take-out meals and lots more. Their open kitchen allows you to savor the delicious scents and the bakery is to die for.

Here are some scenes taken yesterday at Marcanio's.

Support the Grove. Shop your local retailers. Stop whining about national chains and start buying. Anyone who is willing to invest in our community is our friend.

talk about welcome additions... food is great eating in - great taking out - best espresso beyond friendly staff and, no theme park or chain, to boot! Wow. Welcome to the Grove Marcanios!

...Even the valet service is reasonable.

My recent experiences over several nights...

Nice selection of wine for all budgets.
Some pasta entrees are better than others. The eggplant parmagiana is more tasty than the lasagne. The pesto linguini was unremarkable...probably because it needed salt. Mussels are fine, the broth is divine, however some of the mussels served are under par - horsey tasting, and even shriveled, while some in the dish are plump and juicy. Indiscrepancies on the same plate are a bit disconcerting, to me it shows a lack of attention.

The crusty bread and side of oil and vinegar is a nice accompaniment to a glass of wine on an evening like tonight!

Best of all, man's best friend is welcome(:
