What is it that you want?
Case in point: On one post I say I was killing time in the Grove and I am put down in the comments section for wasting my life. In another post I say I am in a rush and I am told in the comments section that I am an impatient person and patience is a lost art. So which is it?

Now you know what it is like being the President of the United States.
Congress says we should of sent more troops, then the President sends more troops. Shortly thereafter, the Congress says we should not send more troops.
Welcome to the world of a fickle humanity.
Actually, the one lesson is to do what you want.
There is no actual evidence that the President listens to anyone
Shortly thereafter, the Congress says we should not send more troops.
If by "shortly thereafter" you mean "4 years and thousands of casualties later" then yes, you have a point.
I appreciate the time and energy you put into the blog.
Oh sweetie, some people just can't be pleased no matter what. Consider it a (twisted) compliment that they care so much about what you do with your time!
I think that you do a great job keeping people up to date about the ongoings in the Grove and I can appreciate that. Sure, sometimes you make comments that people will react to with negative comments like, "Youre stupid" or "Youre impatient", etc. Bottom line, that is what makes a blog a blog. Sometimes you disagree with the poster, but in the end, sometimes those disagreements change someone's mind or at least get them to see the flip side of the coin. It all leads to a better understanding of different views by different people/groups/etc. I dont necessarily agree with every one of your rants, but I appreciate that you put it out there, so thanks. People that hate on you - F em. Thats what I say...
you are destroying civilization as we know it.
ok. well. not really. you're the only one who bothered to put up a blog so we kibbutzers can chime in with our inane opinions. thanks. i think.
You're a crank, but a likeable crank. And you provide a good community service.
If only the community would pay attention.
Who exactly are you – The Blogmaster incognito? No matter...
But, I'd advise you to not pay any mind to the hypnotized masses. As you have personally experienced they are generally dangerously misinformed, sheltered neo-conservative, self righteous, religious zealots, who by loyally staying in character – also happen to be very opinionated.
AKA Bushies.
I think your "killing of time" is an important, albeit somewhat disparaging, way to suggest the beauty of "il bel far niente" - the European (more specifically Italian) way of proclaiming the "Art of Doing Nothing".
And, it is an Art. How many self-proclaimed Type A personalities do we know that flaunt their Type A personality trait as superior!
It's an illusion...
I was "killing time" while waiting for a friend who was at the Aruj Spa on Fuller Street -- eating, shopping, having coffee and enjoying a couple of hours in beautiful downtown Coconut Grove -- not a bad way to spend a day or "kill time" -- I wouldn't mind doing that daily.
As for the spa, notice we avoided Grove Isle, which was my friend's first choice, but I was reminded of
Tere's experience and we went to the Aruj spa instead.
tinaji wrote the following crap describing "Bushies":

Gee, tinaji, I used to be a liberal, but I found that too many of them were dangerously misinformed (convinced that Western culture is inferior), sheltered (a grunt in the 2-7 Cavalry does more to promote democracy than a college-campus activist/liberal arts major), self-righteous (is there a more self-righteous creature on the face of the Earth than a young, narcissistic, morally-preening liberal?), religiously zealous and "loyally staying in character" (I couldn't disagree with my liberal "friends" about anything without feeling shunned).
So, the next time you want to write insipid generalities about a group of people, do what this libertarian-conservative does: Stop and think.
The only label that I'll put on myself is: Non-affiliated.
While I agree with your characterizations of whiney liberals. I have to say that anyone who voted for bush is either a truly bad judge of character or a downright bad person.
Whatever, Adam. As I recall, Mother Theresa wasn't running on either ticket.
Oh god, another ridiculous Tinaji post followed by an equally ridiculous swlip post. You two should mate.
Send me her pic and I'll consider it.
