Shakespeare in the park is back
Shakespeare in the Park is back in the Grove!
"Twelfth Night" will be performed at Peacock Park (2820 McFarlane Road) tonight, Friday and Saturday (Jan. 18, 19 and 20).
The event is free for all. The play starts at 8 pm each night. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Don't look at the filthy shoreline while you are there, or even better, pick up a piece of trash or two if you venture over to the shore. That could be a way to pay for the event since it's free. Everyone who attends should pick up a bottle or piece of trash and dump it in the trash can.

Can you please take a picture of the crowd that actually shows for this event and post it? That would be pretty funny.
It is a great effort but it just doesn't get it. The people enjoy being out under the stars and that's it- maybe when they start showing films in Feb., we might enjoy it more. Let's hope they don't charge for that.
