Waterfront update - again, no update

There is an article today in Neighbors about the waterfront development. Basically it says everything is at a standstill -- public input, at least is stalled. Who knows what they are scheming behind closed doors. Click here for the article.

They are all on Cuban time with this project. Manana is the order of the day in the banana republic of Miami. Very sad.
On another topic, can anyone tell me what happend to Cafe Med? They are boarded up, no indication of returning. Please advise.

the sign inside the window of Cafe Med last Thursday said "sorry, closed for renovations" ...the place already looked gutted, so we'll see what happens

Café Med is definitely reopening. It will be about 3-4 more weeks and they will be done with the work. For now their bar is still open right under Fat Tuesday, they already remodeled it.

I would like to know why Linda Haskins feels the need to hide the recent proposals from Sasaki? Or perhaps she is just lying?
