New art gallery opens tonight

The Heart of the Grove Art Gallery and Gift Shop opens tonight at the old Twice Around Shop at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (3439 Main Highway). These are the GroveHouse artists who were kicked out of their last location at the Shops of Mayfair when the Coconut Grove Arts Festival outbid them for the space.

There will be free wine and cheese at tonight's opening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and lots of paintings and sculptures will be offered for sale. That brings us up to this weekend's Mad Hatter Arts Festival, Saturday and Sunday.
