Traffic alert
Traffic is a nightmare. Avoid that area at all costs if you can. Traffic today, at 10 am was backed up from the Mercy entrance all the way to the Fresh Market. Incoming traffic from 17th Avenue and other streets doesn't help the situation.
Is this a sign of things to come if hundreds of condo units are added to the area?

This is most certainly a sign of things to come if Mercy is allowed to continue to develop or sell off their property for R-4 residential high-rises. The infrastructure servicing the site is maxed out and can not support more increase in density. The historically designated South Bayshore Drive is rated “F” for failure by the DOT and yet the City of Miami’s Zoning and Planning Staff continues to recommend approval for projects without sufficient roadways and transportation infrastructure to support it. There is enough density in the Grove already!
