Beer trucks block traffic
Beer trucks block Grand Ave. on a daily basis at the main intersection of Main Hwy. and McFarlane. As you are coming from the west, going toward the intersection, all cars have to leave the right turning lane and go into the left forward lane and traffic is backed up about a quarter of a mile, past the school sometimes.
Why? It looks dead in this picture, but that's only because I stopped my car to take the photo, but there were dozens fo cars behind me, while this jerk blocked a main traffic lane.

Where should he stop? There are no back alleys? It's not really the truck driver's fault. You should be criticising the zoning board that allowed a bar to be built with no planning for traffic increases.
Cops, lack of turn signaling, runnnig red lights, blocking itersections, jumping lines, taking up two parking spaces to keep your car from getting scratched, etc. are all examples of rude behavior that could be avoided. But if you are the driver of a beer truck there is really no other option without back alleys.
I think there should be intermitant pullout lanes in the median on US 1 so that police/breakdowns could not block traffic. It would be easy to implement and cost little in terms of scenery.
