Cocowalk to be updated

A new developer is going to revamp Cocowalk to make it popular again.

How about dropping the $8.00 parking fee. I avoid it for that reason.

Also, realized that tourists aren't coming back and install a Publix, Barnes and Noble, Walgreens, you know, places the locals would use.

Tututango is still very good with a great atmosphere, and the Cheesecake Factory is reliable. Cocowalk is just lacking a little sprucing up, I think.

Thank God you are not in charge of city planning! Can you imagine how tiny a Publix there would be? Completely impractical. There was also a bookstore before. Guess what. Had to leave.

It needs more stores like Gap and could probably use a mix like Sunset's.

However, the most successful businesses there are restaurants: Wet Willies is always full. Tu Tu Tango is always full. Cheesecake Factory is always full. Hooters is always full.

Hmmm. Get a picture yet?

An entire restaurant and entertainment oriented mall would probably thrive there.

Uhmm... whoever suggested it mimic Sunset Place... have you been to Sunset Place lately?

It's basically become The Bakery Centre 2.0. It's a sinking ship held afloat by the movies and Dan Marino's.

Sunset Place would be more appealing if it didn't cost $8 flat-rate parking. Just like Cocowalk.

Cocowalk also needs to get rid of the current element that frequents it, and try to bring in a nice element. More restaurants and the like.

Look at Cityplace in Palm Beach.
