He makes art history themes new again

Someone you will want to meet at the  Hot Works Miami Fine Art Show  this weekend is John Teal Crutchfield, showing his art at his Metallic Art Graphics booth. John is down from Richmond, Virginia, just for this show. He is one special reason to visit the show. The booth is so full of his precious handmade items, that you can spend hours there checking it all out.

His art is multi-dimensional metallic graphics, jewelry, sculpture and accessories all handmade. Most, if not all are images of famous images and paintings that you'll recognize right away.

My favorite pieces were the guitars and the mandolins, but John also has picture frames (with pictures as part of the frame) and light switches along with lots of jewelry and one-of-a-kind items like sculptures and clocks.

John was one of the Award of Distinction winners at this weekend's show.

My favorite painting Starry Night, is well represented.

For the past 25 years, John has been showing and selling his work nationally and internationally, he designs in fiberglass on a high quality brass base.

"The process consists of computer graphics, art history themes and inlaid holograms and a unique photo image transfer technique," says John.

Stop by and enjoy John's work and even better, enjoy John. He's worth visiting.

The Hot Works Miami Fine Art Show is at Regatta Park for the weekend - they have art set up through Sunday, December 15 from 11 am to 5 pm.
