Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza coming to CocoWalk

CocoWalk is being quite secretive about the new businesses that are signing up for their new renovated location, but we do know that the Grove is getting a new pizza joint. But not just any pizza joint.

The very popular Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza has signed on for a location at CocoWalk. They will have an indoor/outdoor restaurant when the new complex opens. You may know them from their other locations around the county - South Beach, Brickell and Wynwood. They also have a location in Naples, FL.

We just wrote about Stefano Versace Gelato and pizza, which is coming to Florentine Plaza and we do have a number of other pizza locations. But people love pizza. Is there ever enough?

Chef Viola

Renato Viola, the chef, is so good that he received a visa to work in the US as, "an individual who possesses extraordinary ability!" Viola is from a small town called Agropolia, near the Amalfi coast.

As for Mister O1, they have pizza, salads and what they call a mozzarella bar. Some of their specialty pizzas include the Jacqueline, which has two eggs on it! The Scott has lemon chicken and onions. The Fabio has blue cheese and white truffle oil. And of course, their "star" pizza - the Star Luca, which is in the shape of a star.

The Antipasti and Mozzarealla Bar includes Caprese salad, Burrata, Burrata e crudo and Caprese e crudo.

Mister O1 is so good, they have a Miami Pizza School where you can enjoy learning about pizza making through their classes.

You can see the whole menu here.

As for CocoWalk's opening date. Nothing yet. They are still building!

"The Whole Menu Here" Oh dear, everything but the prices. No, no, no, not complaining or is it if you have to ask you probably can't afford it? For example, I'm use to a darn good haircut for $10.00, plus I give a $3.00 tip, but the owner died & the doors closed on us after 30 years, plus I liked the barber. So I goes to this about the Grove and asked "How much"? $50.00 bucks the barber sitting in a barber chair at the end of his empty shop! I found a place for $15.00.

I'm sorry because I think that while the pizza "good," Miami's Best Pizza is better.
