Stefano Versace Gelato is coming to the Grove
Stefano has locations in other areas of the county including Brickell, Miami International Mall and Wynwood. They are also in Mirimar, Ft. Myers, Boca Raton, , Sunny Isles, Port Charlotte and Siesta Key along with other places outside the state.
Dr. Stefano Versace is the founder, his goal is to acquaint the US market with authentic Italian gelato. Organic milk and Italian products go into each concoction - Piedmont hazelnut, pistachio from Sicily along with Sicilian almonds and lemons. The fruit is for their sorbets.
The gelato is made fresh daily at Stefano Versace Gelato, the make it like they do in Italy! Classically trained gelato makers (gelatieres) come in early each morning to start the process.
They have won awards like "Best Gelato of USA & Canada and "Best Gelato of North America."
Along with gelato, the cafe will serve sandwiches and pizza.
There is no opening date set, hopefully they'll be open by the end of the summer.

What is it with the Grove and gelato places? How many gelato places can there be in a 3 block radius? What we could use is a good old fashion frozen yogurt place that is more family friendly.
Bianco is the only one. Where are the others? And it’s not even regular gelato. We do need a Menchies. I don’t know why they left.
How about opening by the beginning of the summer? That’s 3 weeks from now.
If you want family friendly frozen yogurt, move to Kendall.
Isn't it great to be in America, so many opinions about nothing of substance. I'm 76 and have nothing better to do than read the Grapevine to listen to, well, NOTHING.
I'm surprised we haven't gotten the "It's so expensive" comment yet.
