Playhouse meeting at City Hall - April 4

There is an upcoming meeting regarding the Coconut Grove Playhouse on Tuesday, April 4 at 3 pm at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive)

At this meeting, the HEPB (Historic and Environmental Preservation Board) will consider the masterplan submitted by Miami-Dade County and Florida International University for the Playhouse property.  The County and FIU are asking the HEPB for a Certificate of Appropriateness, a key step in the process of addressing the site’s historic status and having GableStage bring great theater to the Playhouse. The plan submitted for the HEPB’s consideration was shared with the public in December 2016 and is now under development by the design team led by Arquitectonica and historic preservation architect Jorge Hernandez.
