Lobster for lunch at The Spillover

My friend kept reminding me about the $20 Lobster Special at The Spillover, so we finally went. I hadn't been for awhile so it was nice to go back. We sat outside, it didn't hurt that the weather was 75 and sunny. The lobster special is on Tuesdays, where anything lobster-related on the menu is $20. We each chose the full lobster, it comes with corn, for a veggie substitution, the cost is $2 more. I got the Brussel sprouts. I've been having a lot of Brussel sprout dishes lately, they seem to be featured all over. Recently I had a delicious dish at The Eating House in Coral Gables, the restaurant by Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli, who is part of Glass and Vine, here in Coconut Grove and some place on Biscyane Blvd., I can't remember the name of the place, but all three of these locations - The Spillover, The Eating House and the place on Biscayne, make delicious Brussel sprout dishes.

At The Spillover, we got  cheesecake, which we shared for dessert and coffee. The cheesecake is called Mama Louise's Cheesecake. It's $8.00.

Other items from the lobster menu include lobster mac and cheese, lobster cobb salad, lobster Reuben, lobster BLT tacos, and probably more things that are specials for the day. These items are usually $25 per dish.
