Javier says, "The County is running this service (that's why there has been some confusion with City) and their plan is to continue to apply Larvicide weekly on Sunday mornings between 2:00 am and 5:30 am. They are doing several neighborhoods that get a lot of visitors (Brickell, Miracle Mile, Wynwood) so it's just not us."
They started Truck spraying on September 21; that was done only once and after they target the larva only. The product being used is Vectobac. Naled is not being used.
The Coconut Grove Village Council meets Friday, October 21 at City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive), at 6 pm. Along with Javier's Zika talk, other issues on the agenda include:
