One Grove Foundation, Inc. is partnering with local activists and leaders to host Easter in The Grove. This inagural event is taking place Sunday, March 27, at Elizabeth Virrick Park (3255 Plaza Street).
"We recognized the opportunity to create a fun filled day that celebrates the joy of the Easter holiday and provides a safe and positive environment for the day’s festivities. This free event is set to include food, arts and crafts and Easter themed activities including an egg hunt and basket creations," says Octavius Veargis, president of One Grove Foundation.
In addition to entertainment, Easter in The Grove will educate attendees on why the holiday is celebrated and its symbolism. 200 to 300 people are expected to attend.
