The tree is lit!

This holiday season, I've been to the tree at Rockefeller Center in New York and the tree at Jackson Square in New Orleans, but the best tree is always your hometown tree and Sunday night, the Coconut Grove Christmas tree was lit right in the center of town, in front of CocoWalk.

The weather was beautiful and a nice crowd showed up. Dist. 2 Commissioner Ken Russell and his family pulled the switch to turn on the tree lights at 6:30 pm.

And there was snow. Lots of snow!

 It was a great evening.

  2. I was just going to post how I enjoyed your enthusiasm for Christmas and tree lightings but I see that Scrooge beat me to the comment section.

Don't listen to him, I am glad you appreciate the traditions of the season.
