The Typsy Mermaid opens up in new location

Lasso the Moon, the event planning and design company, has just about completed their move to the former Improv space at the Mayfair Promenade. And the great news is that their pop-up oyster and champagne party, "The Typsy Mermaid," will be back for select dates this summer.

Maine Lobster Rolls, fresh East Coast oysters and a select selection of champagne are part of the menu.

There is new outdoor seating on the Promenade where oysters will be just $1 each from 4 to 5 pm.
The fresh oysters come from Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury. To compliment the fresh oysters and Maine lobster, they'll be serving Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose and an $8 per glass house bubbly. A selection of Belgian ales and Pabst Blue Ribbon beer will be available, too.

"We are so happy to bring back Pearl, the sea sirène behind The Typsy Mermaid," says Cynthia Seaman (perfect name for a seafood restaurant).

"The Improv is a perfect place for our summer celebration, with a great outdoor bar and outdoor seating. We would love to provide an environment for creatives of Mayfair who need a space for an after hours think tank," continued Cynthia.

The Typsy Mermaid will be open May 14 through 16 and May 28 through 30 from 4 to 9 pm.

I asked Cynthia if the Improv name will stay on the big lighted sign above the entrance, she wasn't sure, and we both wondered if it's historic enough to stay as-is
