Brisket, ribs, chicken and more were all being prepared. It was so funny. There was even a couple of rocking chairs next to the truck for anyone who wanted to hang out. Andy is cracking up at the whole concept going on here.
I started my night there and then went out and about around the FAM Night events and then about 10 pm, I stopped by again and there was a large crowd inside and out enjoying the food and waiting for the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight. They were showing it on the tv's there.
You can't see everyone here, but there were a bunch of people surrounding Jason at the grill, just hanging out, neighborly-like, there were even three dogs below him, out of the shot here.
A lot of regulars showed up and I started knowing so many people there. It really was a "Grove event." Hopefully they do things like this often. While all this was going on, I was taking Sangria from the cafe bar from a big jug and listening to open mic night, as I talked with my friends at a table near the stage. Really fun.
