Helping out the Youth Empowerment Program

The Youth Empowerment Program is in their initial steps and are in need of professional attire for our youth, they are looking for gently worn suits, dress shirts, ties and dress shoes. They are getting young men measured, but will accept all items as they move forward with the program.

Grove Neighborhood Resource Officers Maguffey and Vasquez have partnered with the One Grove Foundation and the West Grove Crime Watch and are embarking in this Youth Empowerment Program.

The Program has identified 15 young men that will be mentored in various areas, to include:
Positive Self Identity
Life Skills and Etiquette
Career Building
Moral Character
Personal Fitness
Please contact Police Commander Manuel Morales directly if you can assist at manuel.morales@miami-police.org or 305-643-7170.
