Regatta Park

The next Waterfront Advisory Committee meeting is Tuesday, October 14 at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm. Regatta Park will be discussed. Here's an illustration of the plans. Please click on it for larger image.

    Looks great! Glad there's a children's area (and not a dog park...no offense to pups). Are they planning a splash pad like the one in South Point? I heard something about that.

    The meeting never started, due to the lack of a quorum. But I spoke with one of the architects, who essentially said that this is a temporary configuration. Changes will be made after the Sailing Club and U.S. Sailing Center are moved to the west sea wall, and again after the parking garage has been built.
