Getting ready for the races at Get Rolling Gathering

As the Great Grove Bed Race draws near, the Get Rolling Gathering took place Wednesday night. This is where the teams meet up, talk strategies and get a feel for the event. Teams are given an advantage of inches at the starting line based on how many people they bring to the Get Rolling Gatherings. The more people they bring, the more inches they receive on race day.

The Great Grove Bed Race is Saturday, November 8, on South Bayshore Drive between Mary Street and McFarlane Road. As we were the first to announce Tuesday, Vanilla Ice is the Grand Marshal again this year, repeating his role from the 2011 race.
