Woody Allen's movie, "Magic in the Moonlight," has been held over through September 18. Set in the south of France during the 1920s, this romantic comedy with a "supernatural twist" tells the story of a master magician trying to expose a psychic medium as a fake. Very much a play-off of Harry Houdini.
Magic in the Moonlight has a star-studded cast that includes Academy Award-winners Colin Firth (The King's Speech) and Marcia Gay Harden (Pollock), Academy Award-nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook) and Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Man).
Tickets are $11.50 and under and are available in advance through the Cinema's website and in person at the box office during regular screening hours. Coral Gables Art Cinema is located at 260 Aragon Avenue, directly across from Books & Books.
