FS Tucker Elementary goes RED for the day

Realtor Ed Ferenczi and his co-workers from Keller Williams Coral Gables/Coconut Grove Real Estate associates, spent the day at FS Tucker Elementary, along with JRG Lawn Care Services. Above, with Ed, at left, are realtor Talib Alway and Cody Lampariello from Exclusive Title Company. They participated in the  “Give Where They Live” program, as part of RED Day, Keller Williams' annual day of service, dedicated to renewing, energizing, and donating to their local communities.

The crew spent the whole day on Thursday, sprucing up the school's garden -- planting, weeding, the works. The point was to increase moral at the school.

Since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams associates have given almost a half million hours of community service through activities ranging from food and blood drives to cleaning up trash in public parks, revamping gardens at nursing homes and rebuilding homes and schools for community members in need. To this day, it is one of the largest events in the real estate industry.

I had a great time doing it. It was a pleasure to give back to my community as much as possible. I moved down from NY in 2003 and Ive lived in Coconut Grove since then. Thank you to all my friends and neighbors who make me proud to call this community my home.
