Benefit ballet performance at Coconut Grove studio

Coconut Grove Ballet is putting on a benefit performance for one of their own. Margo Gignac (left) was a student and part time receptionist at the ballet company and recently she was involved in a tragic car accident that left her paralyzed.

She needs extensive therapy and has no health insurance."Margo's Purrformance," she loved cats, will be held Sunday, March 6 at Coconut Grove Ballet (2829 Bird Avenue). There will be an informal show at the studio at 3 pm and another at 5:30 pm.

Some of the ballet school's classes will present short dances, included are discovery, pre-ballet, ballet 1, ballet 2, intermediate ballet and advanced ballet and company. Tickets are $5 each and contributions will be accepted, too at a donation jar during the performances. For more info, please call 305-448-0336.
