Grovites make magic in Woodstock, NY

Artists Jane Harris and AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt, Philippe Petit, Kathy O'Donnell and artist Elaine Fasula

The Taleo Art Center in Woodstock, NY, hit its second summer running. This past weekend a traveling exhibition of works by Coconut Grove area artists, Theresa Calluori, Jean Cersani, Jane Harris, Fred Hunt, Annette Rawlings, Freda Coffing Tschumy and Areca Whatmore opened.

A successful Saturday screening of "Spiritual Warriors" was followed by a dialogue with co-writer, producer and actor in the film, Jsu Garcia and Rick Ojeda, line-producer. The film is based on the writings and teachings of John-Roger who was also present at the event.

Friday evening brought Woodstock residents and visitors alike including Philippe Petit whose life and work is depicted in the soon to be released documentary, "Man on the Wire."
