There are so many murals around the Grove now, but they are subtle so you may not have noticed them. I've pointed them out to friends and they are surprised to see them. Subtle murals I think are the best kind.
Two of the newest are on Jaguar restaurant on Grand Avenue. On either side of the building you'll see these two jaguar images.
They add a lot of color to the area and to the building.
One is on the west side and one is on the east side of the building.
In the parking lot behind Florintine Plaza you'll see three murals. The peacock is done and looks great.
It's one of the most obvious ones, facing east.
The manatee was completed in June, that is one one side of the plaza, facing south.
And quietly in back, is a flower mural, behind the bike shop, here is Hydee, Danny's pet from Revolution Bicycle Shop.
One of the largest murals is at the 24 Hour Fitness building, for Coconut Village, the new multi-shop location.
This mural was completed recently.
And in March, artists Xenz and James Brazil completed the interactive mural at the Matilda and Grand.
There is also the children's mural at the post office and of course there are Eileen Seitz's info booths. And on Bird Avenue, Coconut Grove Interiors has a big mural on their bright green building.
