Enjoy a holiday evening at Vizcaya

Vizcaya first opened its doors as a private residence on Christmas Day 1916 and they celebrate every year by decorating the Main House as it might have been 100 years ago. Join Vizcaya as they celebrate the season with light on Wednesday, December 18.

Get in the spirit with lantern-making for all ages and skill levels from 6 to 9 pm. Whether you’re visiting with children or talented artisans, guests can create colorful stained-glass-style lanterns or color a giant scene on the East Loggia doors cast in light.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the estate and explore the formal gardens, which will be illuminated like never before, all alongside delicious, complimentary hot chocolate courtesy of Dade County Food Group.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for children (6-12) and free for children 5 and under.
