New Grove Chamber president announced

The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce has new officers, I'm happy to say my friend Wendy Zane is the new president! Wendy is Senior Sales Manager at Fisher Island and at The Mutiny Hotel here in the Grove.

"I have been involved in hospitality sales and marketing management for over 14 years and while at the Mutiny perform Sales for Mutiny’s  bedroom suites. However beyond sales I have taken a keen interest in researching and preserving the colorful history of the famed Mutiny Club as a part of Coconut Grove’s unique culture," says Wendy 

Wendy, originally from Seattle, WA, has been involved in all things Chamber these past few years, she also sits on Board of “Miami Women Who Rock." Previously she was a software engineer, graduated computer information science from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Treasurer: Mia Cavaco, Grove Naturals
Secretary: Katrina Boler, The Barnacle Historic State Park

The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since at 1946, when members gathered at what was then the Coconut Grove Playhouse.  Their mission is to promote and meet the needs of businesses and individuals to stimulate a vibrant local economy and quality of life.  The Chamber serves a diverse group of members, comprised of businesses, merchants, restaurants, financial institutions, hotels, and area attractions in the City of Miami’s most internationally renowned village, Coconut Grove. 

Their regular events include monthly networking cocktails at member venues, Breakfast Seminar Series, Wellness Wednesdays, quarterly luncheons with distinguished speakers and The Women’s’ Networking Initiative Happy Hour on the Last Monday of the month.
