What's old is new again

I came upon this old photo from 1899. It's a bicycle valet!

This is the Bronx Zoo and the lady is leaving her bicycle with the guy at the bike valet - in 1899!

I thought it was great seeing that we have our own bike valet in Coconut Grove thanks to Bike Coconut Grove.

I was a the Museum of the City of New York lat week and they had a great exhibit of bicycles from the 1860s on up.
