Is this the solution for over-building?
No, seriously. In the past, developers sneaked things in that were not allowed and they gladly paid fines as the cost of doing business.
In the Upper East Side of Manhattan, there is mass development going on and according to the New York Times article, "developers push into untouched corners of New York City, prompting fierce resistance from residents who believe their neighborhoods are being overwhelmed by soaring glass towers."
Sound familiar? Yes, even New Yorkers are tired of the chrome and glass, non-stop development.
There are a couple of buildings right here in the Grove that people feel are too high and that an extra floor or two were slipped in. The City's Zoning Department says that that is not the case.

Go figure, National Geographic produced an hour file, about 2/3 years ago showing 7 large newly constructed mega cities complete with signs depicting famous international companies. These 7 cities were to house 9,000,000 people yet at the time not one person lived in these 7 mega cities, which took about 7 years to complete.
