Peacock Park will be transformed back to the 1960s

The block parties have been so successful, they have moved around from Fuller Street to Main Highway to Florida Avenue and now the next one, a rather large one is in Peacock Park. It's a Tribute to Woodstock, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. It takes place on Saturday, June 1.

Thanks to the Coconut Grove BID, the Summer of Love is being revived and a special time in history will be honored at the park, which was a large part of the actual hippy culture back in the 1960s, Peacock Park was ground zero in Miami for the culture back then.

Shira Lee will perform

Peacock Park will be transformed into a day of peace and music. Swing by for outdoor festivities to kick off the summer with great vibes, live music, artisan vendors, art activations and all the things we love to gather for. The free event is from 5 to 8 pm. Wear your tie dye!

Enjoy two special '60s tribute sets by Miami’s very own musical songstress, Shira Lee. Expect to hear folk, jam, and rock-fueled adaptations of Woodstock classics and more. Explore art, kids activities, and refreshing summer eats & drinks while you take in the happy Grove neighborhood.

Free with RSVP, dogs and children welcome.
