'Women Who Shine' presented at Ritz-Carlton
Commemorating Women's History Month, the League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade County is presenting "Women Who Shine," a program at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove.
Five local ladies will be lauded on Saturday, March 23 from 10:30 am to 1 pm:
Thelma Gibson, for a lifetime of achievement as a civil rights activist and co-founder of the Thelma Gibson Healthy Initiative.
Marleine Bastien, immigrant's rights activist and Executive Director of FANM
Deborah Dietz, Executive Director of Disability Independence Group
Avra Jain, Urban developer and founder of Vagabond Group Consulting
Bertila Soto, Chief Judge of the 11th Judicial Circuit.
Seats are $75 each, $750 for a table and may be purchased at lmvmiamidade.org
The Ritz-Carlton is at 3300 SW 27 Avenue.
