Phoenix Beach Volleyball at Kennedy Park

There's a new beach volleyball club at Kennedy Park called "Phoenix." Founded by Grovite Josh D'Alemberte, shown here with a couple of his coaches, it offers beginning to elite level training for kids and adults.

The club is hosted by a team of coaches continually working to develop dynamic programming tailored to all ability levels.

As women’s beach volleyball embraces the title of the fastest growing NCAA sport, it has begun creating a myriad of new and exciting scholarship opportunities for young beach volleyball players to showcase their talents at top colleges and universities across the country. Josh is positioning the Grove and entire county to capitalize on that trend.

The Beach Volleyball Boom has also hit the local high schools surrounding the Grove with the first ever competitive beach volleyball, including Phoenix and the Grove versus Carrollton and Riviera High.  Phoenix Beach Volleyball Club hope should come watch, learn and join this next season of competitive beach volleyball.

Check out Phoenixbvb.com to register for group and private training sessions in 2019. "We strive to empower athletes of various ages, abilities and genders in the skills they can use and enjoy for a lifetime of volleyball," says Josh.

The Coaches at Phoenix Beach Volleyball Club believe that learning the beach game will dramatically improve all facets of any player’s game, including bumping, setting, spiking, serving blocking, situational intelligence, athleticism, vertical jump, and overall strength and conditioning through rigorous training and increased touches of the volleyball.
