Is JLo buying Florentine Plaza?
There is a rumor going around, I hate to post this, but I'm tired of sitting on rumors and then reading them in The Real Deal or somewhere else.
So Danny Lovett's Revolution Bicycle has basically been the only tenant inside Florentine Plaza these days. There is a Cuban restaurant called Chugs's coming soon and possibly other stores, but get this, there is a rumor, it's only a rumor, but I heard it from many people that JLo is buying Florentine Plaza. Is this true? She does get her hair done on Commodore Plaza, she and ARod eat on Commodore Plaza often, ARod was also seen checking out old Knife and Fuddruckers location for a possible gym or club, with the 3 am thing in place, the club may not work out.
And their kids went to St. Stephen's, across the street. They spend a lot of time in Coconut Grove. He likes our Starbucks and Greenstreet. And they have been to so many of the restaurants regularly around the village.
Let's see what happens next. Do rumors fly around here and are they just rumors or are all the people gossiping today right?

They do not live in Grove at Grand Bay.

The poster could know JLo and ARod don't live at Grove at Grand Bay if they are personal friends or business associates of either of the couple or involved with the developer or management. But celebrities can operate in extreme stealth mode if they want to keep a low profile. I have only learned of several very prominent neighbors at the Ritz-Carlton AFTER they moved out. And after seeing the same familiar face in the lobby here over several months did I confirm it WAS the President's former fixer, Michael Cohen. ;-)

It doesn't matter who owns it as long as they do not take it down and build an officer tower there or raise the rents so high business cannot afford them. This is part of our funky Grove not New York City.
when will the Miami City Government realize that fact. Danny must be allowed to stay. He has been there for years and is a Grove fixture.
