Going far with help of Rotary loan

Shavon Saint Preux
Shavon Saint Preux, the recipient of a micro-loan awarded by the Rotary Club of Coconut Grove, will be the guest speaker at the club’s March 14 meeting.
After she aged out of Florida’s foster care system, Saint Preux earned an Associate’s degree from Miami Dade College and is now working towards a Bachelor’s degree. She owns a small hair extensions business that she expanded through the help of the Rotary micro-loan. Saint Preux will talk about her experience in the foster care system and in establishing her business.

The Rotary Club of Coconut Grove meets every Thursday at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, 2990 South Bayshore Drive at 12:30 pm. The cost of the meeting is $25 with lunch or $10 without lunch. Open to the public.
