Do we need another traffic light?
But I guess as more construction and residents enter the area, it's bound to add more traffic and now traffic lights.
I still resent the light at Ingraham Hwy and Douglas Road, which was installed maybe 10 years ago.
This is a Miami-Dade County project.

Actually it is not a bad move as it surely will slow some speeders. I cross Dogulass there with my bike and you have to be really careful. Most folks drive ok but it just takes one going 60 to ruin your day,,,,or life...
The underlying need is to enforse the speed limits but that is a bridge too far...

Why not. Ignoramus drivers on cell phones, a 3 ton vehicle vs, pedestrians, bicyclist, baby carriage, dog walkers, 50 MPH on 25 MPH streets. Once I thought I owned the asphalt, but no more. We are all Brothers & Sisters.
Traffic control is not evil, it's a necessity with todays mentality. Jobie Steppe
Poinciana is becoming a highway for cut through traffic. The traffic light will further encourage the speeders and traffic on Poinciana.
