Kennedy Park improvements ribbon cutting event
There is a ribbon cutting ceremony for Kennedy Park Improvements on Saturday, January 26. Part of the event, which starts at 11 am, is an anniversary for AC Icees to celebrate their 40th anniversary. We were there for their 30th!
City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and District Commissioner Ken Russell will be cutting the ribbon.
Park improvements include repairing the rubber asphalt walking paths, the boardwalk is
being repaired, and some of the exercise equipment that was damaged is being replaced. There are also pipeline repairs associated with the bathrooms.
The event is open to the public.
Kennedy Park is located at 2400 S. Bayshore Drive.
