Repairing homes in Village West

An historic house in Village West
Commissioner Ken Russell will join Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade (RTMD) to begin repairs and modifications on four homes in West Coconut Grove on Wednesday, December 12.

Earlier this year, Ken teamed up with RTMD and has invested $350,000 to revitalize this historic area. This day of service is part of a continued effort to preserve affordable housing in West Coconut Grove.

110 skilled volunteers, contractors and handymen will complete major repairs such as roof repairs, installation of hurricane impact windows and doors throughout the coming weeks.

The day starts at 8 am at Greater St. Paul AME Church (3680 Thomas Avenue) and ends at 2 pm.

Volunteer Projects are:
3720 Percival Avenue
3517 Hibiscus Street
3628 Frow Avenue
