Mad Hatter Arts Festival is back in March

The Mad Hatter Arts Festival was postponed this year due to construction in the area, but it returns for its 14th season on Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17 at The Barnacle and along
the sidewalks of Main Highway.

This juried event features artists of all types of media. As last year, artisans, re-purposed, vintage, antique, and collectible items have been added to the lineup of exhibitors.

Artists, Artisans, and Vendors wishing to be considered in the jury process should submit an application. Join in the fun for a bit of March Madness. Be a part of this zany arts festival - for more information or to request an application packet, contact MadHatterArtsFestival@yahoo.com Applications may also be downloaded from facebook.com/madhatterartsfestival.

Music is a highlight of the Mad Hatter, plus there is a participatory drum circle where everyone can join in, various hat contests to enter and activities for kids of all ages. Food will be available for purchase on site or grab a map and venture out on Beyond the Looking Glass Grove Adventure for drinks and treats at participating restaurants and eateries.

Return with a picnic to The Barnacle on Saturday evening for a showing of the Disney classic, Alice in Wonderland. Movie tickets are $6 per person for ages 13 and over; $5 for ages 6-12; $3 for ages 2-5; and free for ages under 2.

Meanwhile, there’s time to make that zany hat to wear!
