City Hall tree lighting party is Thursday

A scene from the tree lighting 10 years ago!

Mayor Francis Suarez, City Commissioners and City Manager Emilio Gonzalez invite all Miami residents to join them for a fun-filled Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony with lots of family-friendly activities.

They are bringing back this annual tradition and this year will feature radio personality Enrique Santos with music and entertainment brought by iHeartMedia. Alongside the tree, guests will enjoy lots of surprises, food, a mini-parade and fun-filled activities for children of all ages.

This event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5 to to 8 pm at Miami City Hall.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

City Hall is located at 3500 Pan American Drive.

And just as a reminder: The 6th annual Coconut Grove tree lighting ceremony is Saturday December 1, at Florentine Plaza (3444 Main Highway).

The event is from 4 to 8 pm, co-sponsored by CocoWalk and the BID.
