There's a Scavenger Run on Halloween

I'm wondering if the crowds will show up in Center Grove this year for Halloween. Each year it seems the establishment tries to kill it off, I'm still not quite sure why, but they've tried to persuade people into not showing up for a Coconut Grove Halloween.

Now with all the construction and the mess that the Grove is these days, will people show up? A friend says that many of the Halloween revelers probably haven't been to the Grove since last Halloween, so they may show up and be sort of surprised, like you know, "Where's CocoWalk?!"

Anyway, there is a new fun thing happening on Halloween,  Wednesday, October 31 - there's a Halloween Scavenger Run at Kennedy Park.

It's open to any level runner, they will probably run three to four miles that night.

Runners will be divided into two groups and will run from point to point following clues they are given.

After the run, people will end up at a local restaurant in the Grove. The run is from 7 to 8:30 pm.
