Bicycling advocate to address Rotary Club
Hank Sanchez-Resnik |
A dedicated bicyclist, he rarely drives a car, instead using his bicycle and public transit to get around. After living in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly four decades, he and his wife moved to Key Biscayne in 2005 and then Coconut Grove in 2013.
Hank is the founder and executive director of Bike Coconut Grove and co-chair of Friends of the Commodore Trail. In 2017, after being elected to the Coconut Grove Village Council, he became the director of the Council’s Transportation and Mobility Committee. Hank will be speaking about alternate ways to get around in the Grove at the November 1 meeting of the Rotary Club of Coconut Grove.
The Rotary Club of Coconut Grove meets every Thursday at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, 2990 South Bayshore Drive at 12:30 pm. The cost of the meeting is $25 with lunch or $10 without lunch. Open to the public.
