Robbie Parks
I first met him at the Coconut Grove Bed Race and then ran into him all over town after that. I would see him at Barracuda and then at his little sandwich shop which he ran for a short time at the Kwik Stop. I loved his BLT's, I would go there often.
Rob was very loved, he had friends who were friends his whole life, he knew people from way back in kindergarten.
UPDATE: The service will be Friday at 12:30 pm at the Coral Gables Methodist Church, 536 Coral Way.

I heard about it today from my son who went to school with Robbie. So sad
Thank you for your kind words. The family very much appreciates it.
Such Sad news- I’ll always remember Bahama Rob as that cheerful, colorful, full of life guy with that big laugh of his. He was a Gables high graduate, Navy vet and longtime Grove resident. He was a real ‘old-school’ Grove character in the truest sense. Sad to see him go so young - This is a great loss for the Grove and all who knew him. Rest peacefully Rob!
RIP pleasant and gregarious young man
Bless his heart and condolences to all of his friends and family.
