Mr. C. is coming to town
I had a hunch about that over a year ago but I could not pin it down. I reached out to the Cipriani company a year ago or so and they didn't respond after a few calls and emails and Arquitectonica kept telling me a press release would come out shortly, that was over a year ago.
Every time I passed the big Cipriani restaurant on 42nd Street in NYC, which was quite a few times this past year, I would curse them under my breath for not getting back to me.
I didn't want to post it without concrete confirmation, get it? "concrete"? Remember the Coyo Taco fiasco? And they told me they were coming, right to my face!
So there you have it. The new Mr. C. hotel.

What a view it will be from the top floors. I checked out room rates which go between $450.00/$550.00, one was upwards of $1,200.00. I think it gives the Grove a certain air of European modernity. I feel a plus here. Does it have a pool on the top floor?
Have you noticed Arquitectonica likes to cover almost every square foot with concrete and despises green space.
What U talk about Bro?! About 7/10 trees close in to the bottom left, a coconut palm, a tree further out and other trees to the left rear - - - - only thing missing is the goose that lays the golden eggs. Oh, and I see a hedge completely around Mr. C - - - - what U want, milk in your coffee? And this is just for starters. Go lay an egg.
Oh OK, I can go lay an egg at Mr C from what the building looks like stands for Chicken Coop.
Can U imagine the money to be made by Mr. C... Right above the Coconut Grove
Art Show entrance, numerous other events annually, trees, hedges, that lone coconut palm, Coco walk, eateries. No parking lost, foot traffic. This could be the beginning of a friendly relationship. Truly a unique structure to be appreciated by locals and those who long for a new Grove.
